In 2008, siblings Lauren Noecker Robert and Spencer Noecker embarked on a transformative journey by acquiring their inaugural apartment community in Portland, Oregon's vibrant Rockwood neighborhood. Motivated by the burgeoning potential of this evolving locale, Spencer Noecker, a recent alumnus of the esteemed University of Oregon, recognized the promise it held.
Their modest beginnings saw them establish their first office within a cozy one-bedroom apartment situated within the complex they owned. Both siblings were deeply immersed in the daily operations, actively managing the property and spearheading various capital improvement initiatives. This marked the genesis of a genuinely family-driven enterprise, a tradition that endures to this day.
Originally christened as NFN Investments, their venture evolved into the esteemed entity known as NBP Capital. By 2009, the Noeckers had strategically brought on board pivotal equity investors, fortifying their vision and expanding their reach beyond familial confines.
